Podcast Production Assistant

In this position, you’ll help us ensure that each episode runs smoothly from recording to release, engaging with our audience and supporting our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
- Uploading Podcast Episodes: Upload recorded episodes to Transistor, ensuring all technical details are accurate.
- Creating Show Notes: Craft detailed and engaging show notes, including links to products, services, and guest information.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members to streamline the podcast production process.
- Promotional Graphics: Design eye-catching promotional graphics using Canva to enhance audience engagement.
- Guest Communication: Email podcast guests to confirm schedules, provide episode details, and express appreciation for their participation.
- Social Media Management: Post updates and promotional content on social media platforms, creating captions that captivate and inform.
- Newsletter Copy: Convert podcast transcripts into compelling copy for newsletters to keep our subscribers informed and engaged.

What We’re Looking For:
- Comfort and familiarity using Artificial Intelligence (e.g., Chat GPT)
- Must be a self starter and willing to take initiative on tasks
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency with tools like Canva, podcast platforms (experience with Transistor is a bonus), and social media platforms.
- Strong writing skills for creating engaging show notes, captions, and newsletter copy.
- A collaborative mindset with a keen eye for detail and quality.
- A passion for podcasts and an understanding of the production process.
