Our agency provides boutique marketing services for the real estate industry in both Canada and the USA. We are looking for a talented graphic designer to lead the charge in delivering beautiful and functional designs for the niche we serve. This role would suit someone with a passion for creating elegant, simple and beautiful designs on digital media as well as printed media, whilst maintaining strong attention to detail and keeping deadlines/timelines in mind.
The chosen candidate will work North American Pacific Standard Time (9AM to 5PM) via Slack screenshare with constant interaction with the Director and other graphic designers and web developers on the team.
Your Roles & Duties!
Design: Create visually impactful deliverables including booklets, stationery, signage, and websites either building from existing brand standards or developing new ones.
Coordinate: You will be in direct communication with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and goals. Participate in client meetings, present design concepts, gather feedback, and make revisions to ensure client satisfaction and alignment with their vision.
Investigate: Gain a deep understanding of the real estate and commodities industry to create relevant and effective designs. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Collaborate: You’ll work as a part of a project team, collaborating on a daily basis with strategists, developers and project managers
TO SUCCEED, YOU WILL NEED:
• Proficient in standard design tools including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Figma)
• Great taste in clean and modern design with ability to adapt to different brand guidelines and styles easily.
• Mastery of typography with a good handle of English. You should be able to tell when a font pairing is and isn’t working.**
• Understanding of Pantone, CMYK and RGB colours and conversions.
• Strong understanding of layout principles, aesthetic design concepts, and storytelling with flow.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. You’ll have to be able to spot minor inconsistencies from a mile away.
• While there isn’t any actual coding involved, having a basic understanding of the core principles of web development and UX design is a huge bonus
• Organizational skills and the ability to handle being under pressure of deadlines.
• Experience or knowledge of print production and press setup is a bonus
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
• 3+ years in a graphic design role or similar.
• Experienced in client communication and customer relations.
• Design-related education or equivalent self-obtained education.
• Great spoken and written English communication skills
• A strong portfolio

• 1 Administrator who handles customer inquiries, invoices & payments that you will communicate with.
• 1 CEO that oversees the operations, back-end software development & architecture, and some project management.
