Key Responsibilities:

• Access a designated statewide (Connecticut) High School sports website daily to gather the latest results.
• Select and prioritize results from three local high schools for all competitive sports.
• Summarize the selected scores into a clear, engaging, and accurate weekly synopsis.
• Ensure the synopsis adheres to editorial guidelines, including proper formatting, grammar (American English), and tone.
• Email the completed synopsis to the editor by a specified weekly deadline.
• Maintain a consistent and organized record of results and synopses for future reference.
• Stay informed about local U.S. high school sports trends to provide context and enhance the quality of summaries.
