Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and experienced illustrator to create the interiors of a series of drawing books tailored for children. These books will include step-by-step drawing tutorials, practice sections, and other engaging features designed to make drawing accessible, fun, and educational for kids. Each project will have a unique theme, with the potential for long-term collaboration on multiple books.

What We’re Looking For:
Our books aim to fill a gap in the market by addressing common complaints and missed opportunities in existing titles. We’re not just looking for illustrations—we want thoughtful designs that enhance the learning experience by:
• Creating clear, logical, and child-friendly step-by-step instructions.
• Incorporating innovative design elements such as motivational tips, progress trackers, or certificates of achievement.
• Addressing challenges such as varying complexity levels (e.g., designs with 4, 6, or 8 steps based on subject intricacy).
• Including features like practice areas that encourage skill-building and creativity.

Responsibilities:
• Design engaging, step-by-step tutorials tailored to kids aged 4-12.
• Develop visually appealing interiors that include interactive elements like practice sections and motivational content.
• Ensure designs are easy to follow, with clean layouts and a consistent style across the book.
• Respond to feedback and refine designs as needed to meet project goals.
• Deliver print-ready files that adhere to publishing standards.

Requirements:
• Proven experience in creating children’s books, step-by-step guides, or similar projects.
• A portfolio showcasing relevant work (e.g., drawing tutorials, children’s book illustrations).
• Ability to balance creativity with functionality, ensuring designs are fun and educational.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring all elements are cohesive and professionally executed.
• Familiarity with formatting for print publication, including resolution and layout requirements.

Deliverables:
• A completed interior for a 100-110 page book, including step-by-step tutorials, practice sections, and any additional elements agreed upon.
• Designs that address market gaps and provide solutions to common customer pain points, as identified in our research.

Compensation:
