About Us:
We are a growing content production team focused on creating high-quality insurance-related videos. We’re seeking a skilled video editor who is proficient in editing Loom-style videos (screen recording with voice-over) and long-form reading recorded videos (lecture-style, with dynamic visuals) to join our team and help elevate our content.
Job Description:
As a Video Editor, you’ll be responsible for editing and enhancing both short Loom-style videos and long-form reading videos that are designed to engage and inform our audience. You’ll work closely with our content creators to ensure the final product is polished, professional, and aligns with our brand style and standards.
Responsibilities:
-Edit screen recordings paired with voice-over, ensuring clear, concise, and engaging content.
-Edit videos that involve long-form spoken content, integrating on-screen text, animations, and visuals to enhance viewer understanding and engagement.
-Sync video/audio, clean up background noise, and adjust audio levels.
-Apply motion graphics, text animations, and other visual elements to reinforce key messages that meet company standards.
-Organize and maintain project files to ensure efficient workflows.
-Review feedback and revisions from tea
-Ensure all videos are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
Requirements:
-Proven experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on screen recordings, instructional videos, and long-form content.
-Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
-Strong understanding of editing techniques, pacing, and sound design.
-Ability to work independently, take creative direction, and collaborate effectively with tea
-Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
-Ability to edit videos in a timely manner while maintaining high quality.
-Familiarity with creating subtitles, on-screen text, and other visual aids for educational videos.
-must be able to add English captions and definitions to videos.
-must be able to communicate often in slack.
-all work assignments and revisions and work communication will be in English.
Preferred Skills:
-Experience with motion graphics and animation (After Effects or similar).
-Knowledge of video optimization for various platforms (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.).
-Experience with screen recording and creating tutorials or educational videos.
