JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential, commercial, or mixed-use properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing tenants, maintaining the property, ensuring financial performance, and delivering exceptional service to residents and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
Tenant Relations
Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, complaints, and service requests promptly and professionally.
Manage lease agreements, renewals, and tenant move-ins/move-outs.
Handle tenant disputes and enforce lease terms while maintaining positive relationships.
Property Maintenance
Oversee property maintenance, ensuring all systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) are in working order.
Coordinate repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance with contractors and service providers.
Ensure the property complies with local safety and building codes.
Financial Management
Collect rent, security deposits, and other fees, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
Prepare and monitor property budgets, managing expenses to maximize profitability.
Review and approve invoices, manage vendor contracts, and minimize operating costs.
Leasing and Marketing
Market vacant units and screen prospective tenants to maintain high occupancy rates.
Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling advertising campaigns for the property.
Conduct property showings and execute leasing agreements in compliance with company policies.
Compliance and Reporting
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, including fair housing regulations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports for property owners or stakeholders.
Stay informed about market trends and industry best practices.

Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 years experience as a Property Manager or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of property management software (e.g., AppFolio, Yardi, Buildium).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Familiarity with property laws, landlord-tenant regulations, and building codes.
