As a Senior Marketing Specialist focusing on Meta and other paid advertising channels, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and optimizing high-impact campaigns that drive robust conversions, increase brand visibility, and expand market share. Your background in marketplaces (e.g., Alibaba), e-commerce, or manufacturing will help you create tailored strategies to reach diverse B2B and B2C audiences. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage data-driven insights, and continuously optimize for the best return on ad spend and conversion rates.
Key Responsibilities
High-Conversion Campaign Strategy
Plan and implement paid advertising strategies on Meta platforms with a keen focus on driving conversions and revenue.
Experience with additional paid channels (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok) or marketing automation software.
Integrate deep insights from marketplaces, e-commerce platforms, or manufacturing supply chains to create persuasive ad campaigns.
Ad Creation & Optimization
Develop compelling ad creatives and copy designed to convert prospective leads into high-value customers.
Utilize A/B testing (e.g., creative variations, audience segments, ad placements) to optimize conversion funnels and maximize ROI.
Budget Management & ROAS Maximization
Allocate marketing budgets efficiently across multiple campaigns and platforms to achieve superior ROAS.
Track spend vs. performance to identify opportunities for scaling successful campaigns and cutting underperformers.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
Continuously monitor key performance metrics such as CPC, CPA, CTR, and most importantly, CVR (conversion rate) and ROAS.
Generate insightful performance reports for senior leadership, including data-driven recommendations for enhancing campaign success.
Marketplace & E-commerce Expertise
Apply a thorough understanding of B2B and B2C digital sales funnels particularly for marketplaces or e-commerce sites like Alibaba to target audiences effectively.
Leverage familiarity with manufacturing or industrial sectors to position ads in a way that resonates with technical buyers and end users.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work alongside product teams, designers, and sales counterparts to ensure seamless alignment of ad strategies with product launches, promotions, and brand guidelines.
Partner with analytics and operations teams to refine attribution models and better identify high-conversion touchpoints.
Trend Analysis & Innovation
Stay updated on Meta’s newest features, algorithm changes, and best practices to consistently improve campaign performance.
Experiment with emerging ad formats, channels, and technologies (e.g., TikTok, LinkedIn) to broaden the company’s paid media reach.
Compliance & Best Practices
Maintain strict adherence to Meta’s advertising policies and relevant industry regulations.
Ensure proper tracking setup (pixels, conversion events, etc.) for accurate measurement of ad performance and conversions.
Leadership & Mentoring
Mentor junior marketers on effective conversion optimization tactics, campaign management, and data analysis.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and knowledge-sharing within the marketing team.
Key Qualifications
Experience
4-6 years of hands-on experience creating and optimizing paid campaigns on Meta
Proven success in marketplaces, e-commerce, or manufacturing-focused marketing (e.g., Alibaba, B2B industrial sectors).
Technical & Analytical Skills
Proficiency with Meta Business Suite, Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and other marketing analytics platforms.
Strong data interpretation skills, enabling quick, effective decision-making to improve CVR and ROAS.
Marketplace & E-commerce Knowledge
Familiarity with the ins and outs of B2B/B2C marketplace models, including product listings, supply chain nuances, and buyer behaviors.
Experience with e-commerce platforms and multi-channel sales strategies.
Strategic Mindset
Ability to craft multi-channel paid advertising strategies tailored to varying customer segments and life cycles.
Experience in forecasting, budgeting, and scaling campaigns to achieve ambitious growth and revenue targets.
Creative Problem-Solving
Skilled in developing highly engaging ad content that speaks to pain points of diverse audiences.
Mastery of A/B and multivariate testing approaches to refine ad elements for maximum impact.
