Job Summary:
The Business Valuation Associate is responsible for assisting in executing and delivering valuation engagements by participating in all aspects of projects, from initial proposal preparation through project completion.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Assists in managing the valuation services related to tax, transaction, SBA, litigation, and other business purposes.
• Assists in overseeing client engagement from beginning to end, including but not limited to the project setup and other administrative items, communications, and presentations with the clients.
• Performs related company, industry, benchmark analysis, and economic research.
• Analyzes client financial statements and constructs quantitative financial models.
• Critically reviews model functionality, evaluates and documents the methodology employed, assumptions used, and conclusions reached.
• Composes narrative reports in support of valuation analyses.
• Ensures quality controls and risk management procedures are adhered to in association with all client communication and work products.
• Other duties as required.

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, required.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree, required.
• Focus in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics, preferred.
• CVA, ABV, CPA, CFA, MAFF, ASA or other valuation industry credentials, preferred
• Experience with and understanding of valuation theory and principals.
• Experience in business valuation and intangible assets, preferred.
