You will work remotely alongside our amazing Filipino team.
For this role, your tasks will include:
- Record financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, including billing and tracking payments.
- Reconcile bank statements; maintain accurate monthly and annual financial records.
- Assist in payroll processing, tax filings, and compliance with regulations.
- Support audits, financial reviews, and discrepancy resolution.
- Collaborate with the finance team to prepare detailed reports.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in short-term rentals or hotels. DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A SHORT-TERM RENTAL OR HOTEL EXPERIENCE
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Desktop (1–2 years) and advanced Excel skills (e.g., IF functions, pivot tables).
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality.
- Knowledge of GAAP and bookkeeping best practices.
- Hardworking, trustworthy, and detail-oriented.
- Flexibility to work US time (Eastern Time - EST), overnights, weekends, and holidays.
- Hospitality industry experience and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance are a plus.
- Certifications such as QuickBooks Certified Online & Desktop, Certified Bookkeeper, and training in Excel and Google Sheets are highly valued.
