Job Description

File claims with both defendant's (?) and plaintiff's (?) insurance carriers.
Confirm liability acceptance or denial from the defendant's (?) carrier.
Identify and address coverage denials from either the defendant's (?) or plaintiff's (?) carrier.
Submit property damage demands for totaled vehicles (as instructed).
Draft demand letters for rental reimbursement, loss of use, and personal property (e.g., car seats, belongings, motorcycle gear).
Advise clients on vehicle removal from tow yards/storage facilities and notify carriers of the vehicle's location.
Obtain and email clients copies of police reports.
Obtain plaintiff's (?) declaration pages.
Complete SR-1 and SR-19 forms as needed.
Send representation letters to all involved insurance carriers.
Prepare insurance verification and evidence preservation letters for mailing (by Case Manager).
Coordinate recorded statement scheduling (handled by Case Manager with HA approval).
Organize and name property damage (PD) photos according to Case Manager instructions.
Track and maintain records of scanned certified mail.
Draft written statements for carriers (requires HA approval).
Retrieve witness statements (with HA approval).
Update the cost ledger for expenses related to police reports and SR-19s.
Maintain the property damage tracker.
Provide support on additional tasks assigned by Case Managers and Handling Attorneys.

Job Qualifications:

Proven experience (1+ years) in insurance claims processing or a related field.
Strong understanding of insurance claim procedures and terminology.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with SR-1 and SR-19 forms (preferred).
Knowledge of property damage claims (preferred)
