Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced YouTube Video Editor to join our team for a faceless YouTube channel in the business finance documentary niche. The ideal candidate must be skilled in motion graphics and possess an editing style that aligns with the standards of Vox, Johnny Harris, CNBC, and similar high-quality creators. Responsibilities:
Edit long-form YouTube videos (10–15 minutes) in the business finance documentary niche.
Incorporate motion graphics, animations, and text overlays to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
Research and utilize visual assets such as stock footage, images, and infographics to support the narrative.
Implement creative transitions, sound design, and background music to maintain a professional and polished feel.
Ensure videos are optimized for YouTube’s algorithm, with attention to pacing, engagement, and retention.
Collaborate with the scriptwriter and content manager to bring the vision of the channel to life.
Maintain consistent branding, tone, and style throughout all videos.
Requirements:
Proven experience editing videos for YouTube (at least 2 years preferred).
Strong portfolio showcasing work in business, finance, or documentary-style videos.
Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
Proficiency in creating motion graphics and animations using Adobe After Effects or similar tools.
Familiarity with editing styles of Vox, Johnny Harris, CNBC, or similar creators.
Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
Strong storytelling skills and an eye for visual details.
Knowledge of YouTube best practices, including SEO, thumbnails, and video formatting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on faceless YouTube channels.
Background in the business or finance niche is a plus.
Understanding of audience retention and engagement strategies.
