THE LIFE OF A Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Manager
This position is the nucleus of our company’s strategic candidate inventory management, facilitating company growth by maintaining and nurturing candidate inventory for each seat in our organization. In addition to tactical recruiting activities, this role includes resource planning, recruitment strategy, development of recruiting systems & processes, and actively performing all recruiting-related duties. Initially the position will report directly to the CEO for strategic development of all processes and systems, and ultimately will report to Director of Operations. WORK SCHEDULE
This part-time position averages 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The schedule is flexible, however regular meetings are required during 8am-5pm Central Time (CST/USA). Your work schedule must be predefined and approved by your manager. Daily check-in calls, weekly meetings, and consistent status update reports are required. Frequent meetings will be required during 8am-5pm CST (USA), and you may be required to address urgent matters outside of typical work hours. Timesheets will be managed via
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Talent-Acquisition Strategy: Design and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies aligned with company goals, identify talent pools, develop sourcing methods, and develop employer talent-acquisition related branding initiatives.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs, communicate recruitment activity and progress, and collaborate to ensure smooth onboarding processes.
• Candidate Sourcing: Develop various channels like job boards, networking, social media, employee referrals, industry events, and partnerships with educational institutions to attract a pool of qualified candidates.
• Database Management: Develop and manage a database of talent, ensuring that no assets fall through the cracks, and are accessible when needed.
• Recruitment Metrics and Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality, to evaluate recruitment effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Candidate Assessment: Work with CEO and hiring managers to develop candidate-assessment criteria and implement processes using candidate pre-assessment systems.
• Candidate Screening and Evaluation: Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and schedule in-depth interviews to assess candidate fit for specific roles and company culture.
• Interviewing and Selection: Lead the interview process, including behavioral interviewing techniques, to identify top candidates and make hiring recommendations.
• Talent Pipeline Management: Proactively identify, attract, develop, and nurture a diverse and deep pool of qualified candidates to meet the company’s current and future talent needs. Partner with internal Marketing resources to develop systems to keep candidates interested and informed about the company and potential future opportunities.
