JOB OVERVIEW

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and highly organized Virtual Assistant to join our team part-time. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, creative design expertise, and strong communication skills to manage multiple projects, engage effectively on social media platforms, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

This is a part-time role, with the possibility of moving to full-time depending on your skills and performance

Compensation:
Rate: $6–$9 CAD per hour (depending on experience).
Working Hours: 4 hours daily, Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM (EST).

Key Responsibilities:
1. Email and Communication Management
Compose professional and clear email correspondence with strong written communication skills.
Track and acknowledge emails, ensuring timely follow-ups and task execution.
Respond efficiently to general inquiries while maintaining a professional tone.

2. Project Management and Design
Create visually appealing designs using Canva (or similar platforms), adhering to client preferences and specific instructions.
Showcase creativity while meeting design requirements and deadlines.
Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT for generating ideas, streamlining workflows, and improving productivity.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining organization and attention to detail.

3. Social Media Management
Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content tailored to various social media platforms.
Execute content strategies in alignment with provided guidelines.
Monitor basic analytics to evaluate performance and recommend improvements.

4. Technical Proficiency
Utilize Google Drive for efficient file management and collaboration.
Perform data entry, tracking, and reporting tasks in Google Sheets.
Adapt quickly to new tools and platforms to enhance productivity.

5. Soft Skills
Demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-quality work.
Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
Work collaboratively with team members while also excelling as an independent self-starter.
Manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

Required Platforms and Tools

Email
& Communication Management: Gmail
Design Tools: Canva (or equivalent), ChatGPT (or similar AI tools)
Social Media Platforms: Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, and others as needed
File Management: Google Drive
Collaboration: Skype, Slack (preferred)
Data Management: Google Sheets

Required Equipment
To perform effectively as a remote worker, the following equipment is essential:
A reliable computer (desktop or laptop) with updated software and sufficient processing power.
High-speed internet connection to ensure uninterrupted communication and workflow.
A webcam and microphone for virtual meetings and collaboration.
A quiet, distraction-free workspace for focused work.
Access to a smartphone for communication and app-based tasks, if necessary.

Qualifications
Proven experience in email and communication management, design, social media management, and project coordination.
A strong design portfolio showcasing creativity and attention to detail.
Familiarity with analytics and reporting for social media platforms.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
