We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Home Care Business Operations Consultant to help fast-track the setup of our premium home care business. This is a contract-based role for an expert with at least 5 years of experience in home care business operations. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in establishing the operational foundation of our business, ensuring that we meet industry best practices and standards.
Location: While we prefer candidates based in the Philippines, we are open to hiring talented individuals from other locations, such as Colombia or the United States, who bring the right skills and experience to the table.
Responsibilities:
1. Role Definition and Recruitment: Identify, define, and prioritize essential team roles. Assist with hiring processes for both local and offshore roles.
2. Home Care Management Software: Recommend and set up industry-standard software (e.g., ShiftCare, WellSky, or similar).
3. Policies, Procedures, and Manuals: Build out comprehensive policies, procedures, and training manuals/guides for caregivers and staff.
4. Rate Sheets and Pricing: Develop pay rate and bill rate structures based on market research. Create detailed rate sheets for all service offerings.
5. Service Offerings: Advise on and help refine the types of services provided (e.g., hourly care, live-in care, additional premium services).
6. Caregiver Recruitment and Compliance: Manage processes for caregiver background checks, qualifications, and required skill levels. Provide guidance on caregiver recruitment strategies.
7. Operational Setup: Oversee the setup of secure systems for client records, scheduling, billing, and communication.
Industry Expertise: Leverage extensive knowledge of the home care industry to provide strategic insights and ensure operational efficiency.
Requirements:
1. Minimum 5 years of experience in home care business operations. Additional experience with assisted living and medical home care preferred.
2. Expert-level proficiency with home care management software (e.g., ShiftCare, WellSky, AxisCare, or others).
3. Proven track record of setting up home care businesses or consulting for similar organizations.
4. Strong knowledge of caregiver recruitment, pay rates, bill rates, and industry best practices.
5. Experience developing policies, procedures, and training guides/manuals.
6. Excellent communication and project management skills.
Familiarity with compliance and licensing requirements for home care businesses (preferred).
Contract Details:
Type: Short-term contract (potential for extension).

Start Date: Immediately.
Compensation: Competitive; commensurate with experience.
