About the Role:
Amir Barnett, a self-taught visual artist with a thriving art business, is seeking a talented and reliable Creative Assistant to help scale his business to new heights. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for art and social media who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment. Your work will directly support the preparation and promotion of Amir’s next art show and ongoing business growth.
Responsibilities:
Video Editing: Cut and edit engaging reels and short videos for Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms to highlight Amir's creative process, past shows, and upcoming events.
Social Media Management: Schedule and post content, write captions, and engage with followers to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Event Promotion: Help create marketing strategies and campaigns to promote the next art show, including
Admin Support: Coordinate with vendors and partners, track tasks related to show preparation, and ensure deadlines are met.
What We’re Looking For:
Creative Skills: Proficiency in video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar) and an eye for detail when crafting visually compelling stories.
Social Media Savvy: Understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms' algorithms, trends, and best practices.
Organized and Reliable: Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate progress regularly.
Passion for Art: Enthusiasm for supporting an artist and bringing creative visions to life.
Bonus Points: Experience in event planning, marketing, or art-related fields.
