Expert Video Editor for Social Media Content

Are you a talented video editor with a passion for creating captivating, fast-paced short-form videos? I’m looking for a skilled professional to finalize high-quality videos for my social media platforms.


About the Role

You’ll step in during the second half of the video creation process, working with raw footage, voiceovers, and initial edits I’ve prepared to produce polished, ready-to-publish videos. Each project will involve 20 minutes to 2 hours of footage, which you’ll sift through to select the best clips and create a 1–3 minute video that tells a compelling story.

This is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week, with the expectation of completing 7–10 videos weekly.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit and arrange video clips to align with pre-recorded voiceovers.

- Review and narrow down footage to select the most compelling clips.

- Craft engaging and visually appealing videos that flow naturally and tell a cohesive story.

- Incorporate relevant visuals such as screen recordings, maps, and on-screen text when necessary.

- Ensure videos feature dynamic intros/hooks to capture viewers' attention.

- Collaborate via CapCut for seamless project sharing and updates.

- Proficiency in CapCut: Essential for collaboration.

- Social Media Savvy: Familiarity with the style and trends of platforms like TikTok and Instagram.

- An editor who can create videos in my signature style.
