Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Google Ads Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads (formerly AdWords) campaigns, proficiency in Tag Manager, and a thorough understanding of conversion tracking and Google Analytics. This role also requires a background in landing page design and creation, experience with Calendly, and proficiency in CallRail (including setup and tracking of calls and conversions). As a key player in our team, you will oversee multiple accounts simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and create well-researched ad strategies that align with each client’s mission and goals.

Campaign Management
Develop, implement, and optimize Google Ads campaigns for multiple clients across different industries within the Christian market space.
Monitor campaign performance, adjust bids, and refine targeting for optimal ROI.
Conduct keyword research aligned with each client’s products, services, and target audience.
Landing Page Design & Creation
Collaborate on or independently create landing pages to support marketing campaigns and improve lead-generation efforts.
Ensure landing pages are optimized for user experience and conversion.
Conversion Tracking & Analytics
Set up and maintain tracking using Google Tag Manager, including conversion pixels.
Implement and manage Calendly and CallRail integrations for appointment scheduling and call tracking, ensuring accurate data collection.
Proactively analyze data in Google Analytics to identify areas for improvement and report on key metrics.
Account Portfolio Oversight
Oversee a portfolio of Google Ads accounts, ensuring each campaign is optimized at least bi-weekly to meet performance goals.
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders about campaign progress, potential improvements, and strategic directions.
Strategic Planning & Execution
Conduct in-depth keyword research and competition analysis to develop effective ad strategies.
Create account structures that align with campaign objectives and client goals.
Develop and document best practices and processes for ongoing optimization.
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with clients, internal teams, and other key stakeholders to align marketing strategies with overall ministry or business objectives.
Provide regular performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
Task Management & Prioritization
Create task lists, timelines, and priorities to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
Stay current with Google Ads platform updates, new features, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and conversion tracking methods.
Ability to design and create effective landing pages for campaign optimization.
Familiarity with Calendly for scheduling integrations.
Working knowledge of CallRail for call tracking and conversion tracking.
Strong keyword research capabilities and familiarity with best practices for structuring Google Ads campaigns.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Christian ministry/faith-based organizations (or willingness to learn this niche).
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently under minimal supervision.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple accounts.
