Product Designer (2 positions open)

We are looking for 2 product designers for our ecommerce shop. You will be responsible for producing high quality designs based off of market research (provided.) We have two openings, one in Jewelry and one in Tumblers/Mugs/Cups.


Designer (Jewelry) Role Overview:
The Jewelry Designer will focus on creating custom pendant and notecard designs based on market research and trends. They will develop unique, high-value designs that align with Etsy buyers' preferences while standing out in the market. Example product (not ours) -- https://tinyurl.com/8p4xtfck

Designer (Drinkware & Barware) Role Overview:
The Drinkware Designer will be responsible for creating designs for mugs, frosted glass cups, wine tumblers, and other barware products. Their work will reflect current market trends and bring innovative, unique designs to the Etsy marketplace. Example products: https://tinyurl.com/4j4z5h98

Responsibilities:
- Research market trends and competitors to create designs that add value.
- Design pendants and notecards that are visually appealing and tailored to specific themes or occasions.
- Use Canva to create high-quality artwork with attention to detail and quick turnaround.
- Implement design strategies based on research (e.g., adding color to fill gaps in the market).
- Collaborate with the shop owner to ensure designs meet branding and market standards.

Requirements:
- Proficiency in Canva.
- Familiarity with Etsy and tools like EverBee for market research (preferred).
- Strong understanding of design trends and consumer preferences.
- Ability to adapt designs based on market gaps and opportunities.
- Quick and detail-oriented with an eye for creativity.

Compensation and Pay:
- Compensation will be a monthly pay with a goals target. If you hit your approved designs target, you will receive an additional performance bonus each month!
- Compensation is not based on hours but a flat monthly rate, and a bonus for additional production

This is our 3rd year up and running as a shop and we have major goals of tripling profit for 2025. My philosophy is that if you work hard, and are part of the team and contribute good outcomes to our business, you'll get rewarded as we get rewarded!
