We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Manager of eCommerce Logistics to support and optimize Chamelo’s logistics and fulfillment operations for our growing global eCommerce business. This role will focus on ensuring efficient operations, inventory management, and delivery reliability as Chamelo continues to scale internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
Global Logistics Support: Assist in managing the logistics operations across key international markets, including the US, Canada, UK, EU, Middle East, and APAC, ensuring efficient product delivery and customer satisfaction.
Inventory Management & Forecasting: Support the development and implementation of effective inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize stockouts. Leverage forecasting to predict demand and adjust inventory accordingly.
Logistics Operations Management: Oversee daily logistics operations, including the order fulfillment process, inventory control, shipping timelines, and delivery accuracy across global markets.
Third-Party Logistics Coordination: Help manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and fulfillment centers to ensure cost-effective, timely, and accurate delivery of products.
Data-Driven Performance Tracking: Assist in the monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics, identifying trends, optimizing inventory levels, and adjusting operations based on business needs.
Customer Experience Support: Collaborate with customer service and marketing teams to ensure logistics operations enhance the customer experience and maintain brand loyalty.
Risk and Contingency Management: Identify potential risks in the logistics and supply chain processes (e.g., shipping delays, stockouts) and assist in the creation of contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
Process Improvement: Work with senior management to continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes, leveraging technology to drive operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery performance.
Budget and Cost Control: Assist in the budgeting process for logistics operations, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented while meeting service level agreements.
Global Expansion Support: Assist with logistics strategies for new market entries, ensuring scalability to meet demand in international markets.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in eCommerce logistics, supply chain management, or operations, preferably in the direct-to-consumer (DTC) or retail space.
Experience managing ecom/logistics for a DTC Shopify store.
Experience in managing inventory, forecasting, distribution, and fulfillment processes, ideally for a global eCommerce business.
Strong understanding of supply chain optimization and logistics technologies.
Experience managing third-party logistics relationships, including fulfillment centers and courier services, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Ability to analyze data and use insights to make informed decisions and improve logistics operations.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Amazon is a plus.
Familiarity with logistics management software and tools. Experience with Asana, Slack, or similar platforms is advantageous.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and markets.
Fluent in English, with additional language skills considered a plus.
An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate and drive growth in a startup-like environment.
