Job Title: Draftsman
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and plans that align with project specifications and requirements. This role involves working closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals to produce accurate and high-quality designs.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Drawings: Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, and plans using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit).
Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to gather project requirements and translate them into technical designs.
Revisions and Updates: Modify and update drawings based on feedback, design changes, and project needs.
Blueprint Preparation: Produce detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical documents that adhere to project and industry standards.
Material Specifications: Assist in determining material requirements and specifications for projects.
Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and quality standards.
Documentation: Maintain organized records of drawings, specifications, and revisions.
Problem Solving: Address design and drafting issues, proposing solutions to meet project objectives.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Draftsman or similar role.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or equivalent).
Strong understanding of architectural, mechanical, or civil drafting principles (depending on the industry).
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in designs.
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with tea
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification or diploma in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in a specific industry (e.g., construction, manufacturing, architecture).
Familiarity with 3D modeling software and rendering tools.
Work hours: 9am to 5pm EST
Full time, Monday through Friday.
