Overview:

Kathy Kuo Home is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Image Editor to join our product team. The Image Builder will be responsible for editing and enhancing product imagery for our website, marketing materials, and various digital platforms. This role is essential in maintaining our brand’s aesthetic excellence and ensuring our customers experience visually stunning and accurate representations of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit and enhance high-quality product images using advanced image editing techniques and tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software.
Apply precise color correction techniques to ensure product colors in images are true to actual samples, enhancing visual appeal and consistency.
Ensure all images align with the brand’s style guide, maintaining consistency across all platforms.
Work closely with product & merchandising teams to acquire image assets and deliver on creative goals.
Address technical challenges related to lighting, shadows, and perspective in product photography and renderings.
Organize and manage image libraries, ensuring files are properly named, stored, and backed up.
Conduct meticulous checks to ensure all images meet high standards for resolution, clarity, and presentation before publishing.
Stay updated on industry trends and tools to continually improve techniques and workflows.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Image Editor, Photo Editor, Graphic Designer, or a similar role.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and other relevant image editing software.
Expertise in color correction and color theory, with a strong understanding of maintaining color accuracy and consistency across product imagery.
Strong understanding of image composition, lighting, and aesthetics.
Keen attention to detail and a strong eye for design.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of 3D rendering software (such as Blender, 3ds Max, or KeyShot) is a plus.
Familiarity with the home furnishings or e-commerce industry is highly desirable.
