Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Community Manager with HOA experience to join our team. The Community Manager will assist the property manager in various administrative tasks related to managing properties within the HOA. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Communications: Serve as a liaison between the HOA board, homeowners, vendors, and other stakeholders. This includes responding to inquiries, sending out communications, and coordinating meetings.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records related to property owners, contracts, financial transactions, and correspondence.
- Financial Management: Assist with financial tasks such as collecting dues, processing payments, creating budgets, and generating financial reports for the board's review.
- Vendor Coordination: Help in selecting and coordinating vendors for maintenance, repairs, landscaping, or other services needed within the community.
- Enforcement of Rules and Regulations: Assist in enforcing the HOA's rules and regulations by monitoring compliance, issuing violation notices, and following up on necessary actions.
- Meeting Support: Organize and prepare materials for board meetings, attend meetings to take minutes, and assist with any follow-up actions or tasks.
- Property Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of common areas or individual properties to ensure they are well-maintained and in compliance with HOA rules.
- Assistance with Projects: Provide support for special projects or initiatives such as community events, capital improvement projects, or landscaping upgrades.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in property management, particularly within the HOA industry.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software platforms.
- Knowledge of HOA rules and regulations, as well as relevant legal requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
