JOB OVERVIEW

Overview:
I'm looking for a highly skilled Video Editor and Social Media Virtual Assistant to join my team. If you’re creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating engaging short-form content for TikTok and Instagram Reels, we want to hear from you! You will work closely with me to edit videos, schedule posts, analyze performance, and ideate fresh, competitive content strategies to grow my brand. This is a long-term position, and we value commitment and a proactive work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:
Video Editing
Edit TikTok and Instagram Reels to make them visually engaging, on-trend, and aligned with the brand's tone.
Use effects, captions, transitions, and music to boost content engagement.
Repurpose existing content to create variations for different platforms.

Content Scheduling & Publishing
Schedule content using social media management tools (e.g., Later, Hootsuite, or native scheduling tools).
Ensure posts go live at optimal times for audience engagement.
Respond to comments and engage with the audience when needed.

Analytics & Reporting
Monitor and analyze performance metrics for TikTok and Instagram (e.g., reach, engagement, views).
Provide weekly reports with actionable insights to improve content performance.
Track trends to identify what resonates with the target audience.

Content Ideation & Research
Research competitor accounts to identify trending formats, hashtags, and strategies.
Collaborate to brainstorm creative concepts and fresh ideas for TikTok and Reels content.
Stay updated with social media trends and platform updates.

General Support
Organize video and content assets in Google Drive or similar tools.

Assist with planning and executing content calendars.

Qualifications:
Proficiency in English: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required.
Video Editing Experience: Proven experience editing TikTok and Instagram Reels, preferably for brands or influencers.
Social Media Expertise: Knowledge of TikTok and Instagram algorithms, trends, and best practices.
Long-term Brand Work: Experience working with brands on long-term content strategies.
Creative Eye: Ability to create visually appealing, engaging content that aligns with the brand’s voice.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or Final Cut Pro) and social media scheduling tools.
Data-Driven Approach: Ability to interpret analytics and suggest improvements.
Proactive & Organized: Strong work ethic with excellent time management skills.
Trend Savvy: Up-to-date with the latest TikTok and Instagram trends.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with content ideation and copywriting.
Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Photoshop).
Familiarity with influencer marketing and brand collaboration strategies.
Knowledge of SEO and hashtag strategies for social media.
