JOB OVERVIEW

Job Description:
We are Call to Leap, a vibrant and growing social media channel focused on finance education and community engagement. We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Social Media Assistant to work closely with our Social Media Manager. Your role will include:

1. Community Engagement:
Responding to comments on social media posts and reels.
Engaging with our community by answering direct messages (DMs) and questions.
Demonstrating a basic understanding of finance to answer questions like "What is a HYSA?" or "What is the 50/30/20 rule?" with the help of AI tools like ChatGPT.
Providing accurate responses about our investing masterclass and other offerings.
2. Create Text Carousels:
Conducting competitive research to identify trending topics and styles.
Designing engaging carousel posts on Canva to grow our social media following and boost community interaction.
3. Create Thumbnails:
Performing competitive research to craft eye-catching thumbnails on Canva.
Aiming to improve click-through rates on video content.
4. General Admin Support:
Assisting the Social Media Manager with various engagement strategies.
Designing, proofreading, and quality-checking social media content.
Handling other general administrative tasks to streamline operations.
5. Team Communication:
Collaborating and communicating with the team through Slack.
Providing updates and ensuring tasks are on track using our Slack channels.

Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PT
Pay: $500 USD/month

Skills Requirements:
Proficiency in Canva.
Strong written English communication skills.
Basic knowledge of personal finance.
Ability to use tools like ChatGPT to supplement responses.
Excellent research and design skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Familiarity with Slack for communication and team collaboration.
