Calling All Creative Navigators!
Imagine you're piloting a spaceship through a galaxy of ideas, charting courses to new stars (aka social media platforms) and crafting messages that inspire explorers (our guests and community). Observer Ranch Campground & Learning Center is looking for a Social Media and Content Star Commander to guide our online presence and bring fresh ideas to life.

Your Mission if you choose to except will be to:
Craft engaging, original content for the social universes of Facebook, Instagram, and beyond. Use your creativity to bring to life the story of Observer Ranch’s mission to educate, inspire, and entertain.
Design eye-catching flyers and social media posts using Canva.
Brainstorm fun, educational campaigns that reflect our space-themed and outdoor-focused brand.
Engage with followers in the comments and keep conversations lively and aligned with our frequency .
Organize email campaigns and newsletters to keep our community connected and informed in ways that draw them into our orbit and compel them to visit again and again.
Take the lead on upcoming projects, thinking outside the box to create content and experiences that are truly “out of this world.” (Hint: Include the phrase "charting new galaxies" in the subject Line)

What We're Looking For:
A creative and curious mind who loves making compelling memorable content and has an eye for design.
Someone who knows their way around Canva and has experience running or managing social media accounts.
A self-starter who can take an idea and run with it, always shooting for the stars.
Exceptional communication skills with a friendly, professional tone, the kind of person we’d gladly take along on an interplanetary trip.
A love of innovation, education, and all things outdoors.
40 hours a week flexible hours, 13 month pay, $5-$6 per hour

Write a brief paragraph 2-5 sentences about why and how you’re ready to help us “chart new galaxies” and launch Observer Ranch to the next stratosphere.
