Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in assisting the accounting operations of our portfolio companies, reporting directly to the Corporate Controller.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Help with the maintenance and accuracy of the general ledger, ensuring all the journal entries are recorded accurately and in a timely manner during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
Reconcile complex accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall accounting operational functions.
Thoroughly review accounting reports for precision and compliance.
Prepare and file sales and use tax returns for the company.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government regulations.
Perform any other related duties as necessary or as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Business Administration required.
Minimum of 5-7 years or more of relevant accounting function experience.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation or progression toward is
preferred.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate with the team.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is desirable.
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in the Distribution, Manufacturing, or Retail industry is highly desirable.
