Experienced Supply Chain Manager Needed - Shopify Dropshipping E-commerce

I’m looking for an experienced and proactive Supply Chain Manager to take full ownership of supply chain operations for my two rapidly growing Shopify stores. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in supply chain management, operational excellence, and coordination within the e-commerce space.


What You’ll Be Doing:

Supplier Coordination

- Negotiate price reductions for products with with the supplier.
- Request quality checks for products from the supplier.
- Ensure timely resolution of out-of-stock items, incorrect sizes, and product variations.
- Communicate with suppliers for refunds and resends on customer returns, lost shipments, or damaged items.

Inventory Management

- Monitor and update Cost of Goods (COGS).
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date product listings by managing inventory adjustments, including marking unavailable items as out of stock.
- Oversee unfulfilled orders and ensure timely follow-up to prevent delays.

Operational Oversight

- Track key metrics: dispute ratio, refund rate, refund request rate, and average delivery time.
- Manage the refund request process and verify justifications.
- Oversee disputes and ensure Virtual Assistants (VAs) follow proper procedures.
- Ensure all stores are reviewed daily and important updates are shared promptly.

Team Collaboration

- Work closely with the Customer Service team to address address errors, customer preferences for replacements, and size adjustments.
- Communicate effectively with the CEO to ensure alignment on operational updates and priorities.
Requirements

Experience

- MUST: 1+ year experience as a Supply Chain Manager in e-commerce.
- MUST: Experience with Shopify stores and tools.
- PRE: Familiarity with supplier negotiation and inventory management.

Skills

- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication skills for supplier and team coordination.
- Data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficiency with supply chain management tools and Shopify apps.
- Ability to work full-time & excellent written and spoken English.
