About Us:
We are a mortgage company looking for a skilled video editor to transform our raw video content into engaging social media posts across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating compelling short-form content that resonates with diverse audiences.
This will be an ongoing engagement.
Project Scope:
Edit raw video footage(which will be supplied) into polished content for Instagram,
Create multiple versions of each video optimized for different formats:
Instagram/Facebook Reels
Instagram/Facebook Stories
Instagram/Facebook Feed Posts
LinkedIn Posts
Add transitions, text overlays, and graphics
Incorporate brand elements and maintain consistent style
Required Skills & Experience:
3+ years of video editing experience
Proven track record of creating engaging social media content
Expert knowledge of optimal video specifications for each platform
Strong understanding of current social media trends and best practices
Experience with motion graphics and text animation
Ability to maintain brand consistency across all content
Technical Requirements:
Proficiency in professional video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects)
Experience with audio mixing and sound design
Knowledge of social media aspect ratios and export settings
Ability to work with various video file formats
Understanding of compression and optimization for social platforms
Responsibilities:
Edit raw footage to create engaging short-form content
Add music, sound effects, and ensure proper audio levels
Create eye-catching thumbnails and cover images
Incorporate branded elements, lower thirds, and text overlays
Optimize videos for each platform's specifications
Maintain consistent pacing and style across all content
Meet quick turnaround times for time-sensitive content
Project Process:
Review raw footage and provide estimated delivery timeline
Create initial edit for review
Incorporate feedback and revisions
Deliver final files in all required formats
Provide both high-resolution masters and platform-optimized versions
Communication Requirements:
Regular updates on project status
Quick response time for time-sensitive content
Ability to work independently while following brand guidelines
