JOB OVERVIEW

Position Description

We are seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) freelance contractor to work with one of our clients as a Growth Operations Manager. This role focuses on designing and managing the operational infrastructure for the growth team, ensuring efficiency and alignment across departments. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with Growth, Finance, and Accounts teams to align on staffing and invoicing needs, support the Head of Growth with operational planning and strategy, and serve as the main point of contact for growth correspondence. Key responsibilities include managing budgets for enterprise tools, creating and maintaining operational systems, leading weekly priorities meetings, drafting monthly agendas, and ensuring projects stay on track through regular check-ins and reporting.



About the work
Manage projects using Monday.com, creating tasks, setting up boards, assigning task owners, and tracking deadlines to ensure project progress.
Take initiative to proactively reach out to team members, fostering clear and consistent communication to address project needs.
Attend team meetings and take detailed notes to document discussions, decisions, and action items.
Follow up with task owners regularly to ensure timely completion of assigned responsibilities.
Adapt to EST working hours, with the potential shift to PST hours as needed to align with team requirements.
Maintain a collaborative approach, ensuring all projects are executed efficiently and align with client objectives.


Boxes to check
5+ years of experience in operations management, project management, or a similar role, with a focus on supporting growth initiatives.
Proven expertise in building and maintaining operational infrastructure and systems to enhance team efficiency.
Strong understanding of budgeting and the ability to project and manage budgets for enterprise tools and infrastructure.
Experience working cross-functionally with departments such as Growth, Finance, and Accounts to align on staffing, invoicing, and project needs.
Proficiency with tools like Pipedrive, Google Workspace (GSuite), and other project management systems.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills to coordinate and manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and teams.
Ability to lead and facilitate weekly priorities meetings, monthly strategy sessions, and other team alignment initiatives.
Strong track record of supporting sales teams with materials, coordination, and logistical planning for marketing events and conferences.
Experience in client-facing roles, including onboarding and liaising with accounts teams to ensure seamless client experiences.
Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to hold team members accountable and keep projects moving forward.
Familiarity with design thinking and human-centered design principles is a plus.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities.

Night shifts (EST with shifting schedules to PST) with fixed weekends off
