Activity Restrictions: Education on gradual movement, avoiding strenuous activities, and resuming normal activities based on recovery progress.
Monitor for postoperative complications, including infection, excessive pain, or difficulty breathing, and coordinate in-person evaluations if needed.
Patient Education & Support:
Provide comprehensive counseling on managing postoperative symptoms, recognizing warning signs, and following individualized recovery plans.
Support patients in transitioning to long-term care strategies, including endometriosis symptom management and family planning considerations.
Ensure all educational materials and virtual tools are tailored to patients’ needs and understanding.
Documentation & Coordination:
Document all patient interactions, assessments, and care plans in the electronic medical record (EMR) system accurately and promptly.
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other care team members to ensure seamless and patient-centered care throughout the surgical journey.
