E-Commerce Operations & Data Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional to support our e-commerce and logistics operations. This role requires advanced Excel skills, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to leverage AI tools (such as ChatGPT) for data processing and content generation. The ideal candidate will have a fundamental understanding of fulfillment, logistics, and inventory management, as well as basic accounting skills to prepare concise financial summaries and P&L statements.

Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Utilize advanced Excel functions (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and other formulas) to process, analyze, and interpret large datasets.
Generate insightful, easy-to-understand financial reports and performance metrics (e.g., P&Ls).

E-Commerce & Logistics Operations:
Work with SKUs, ensuring accurate item setup, catalog management, and inventory tracking.
Understand the principles of fulfillment and logistics, coordinating with vendors or fulfillment centers to ensure timely and cost-effective product deliveries.

AI-Assisted Research & Content Generation:
Efficiently use ChatGPT or similar AI tools to research market trends, create product descriptions, and optimize internal documentation.
Pull information from various data sources to identify patterns, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Basic Accounting & Financial Documentation:
Prepare basic financial documents, including simple balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cost analyses.
Provide recommendations based on financial findings to inform pricing, inventory decisions, and other strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in advanced Excel (complex formulas, data manipulation, and reporting).
Familiarity with Amazon’s seller platforms, fulfillment processes, and basic supply chain concepts.
Fundamental knowledge of accounting principles and ability to create simple financial documents.
Experience with e-commerce product management and SKU-level analysis.
Strong communication skills and the ability to leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple projects with minimal supervision.
