Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping & Sourcing Manager with a strong background in the apparel industry. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end sourcing of materials, coordinating with suppliers, and overseeing shipping logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products. The ideal candidate has experience working with global suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations while optimizing supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing & Supplier Management:
Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with fabric mills, trims suppliers, and apparel manufacturers.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality.
Ensure all sourced materials meet quality standards, sustainability guidelines, and production deadlines.
Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and sourcing strategies to improve procurement processes.

Shipping & Logistics Management:
Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring smooth shipping operations from suppliers to warehouses or retailers.
Manage shipping schedules, freight rates, and carrier partnerships to optimize costs and delivery times.
Coordinate with internal teams to forecast demand and plan shipments accordingly.
Monitor customs regulations and import/export compliance to avoid delays and extra costs.
Implement strategies to improve efficiency in logistics and reduce lead times.

Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination:
Work closely with the production and inventory teams to ensure stock levels align with demand.
Address supply chain disruptions, proactively finding solutions to minimize impact on production.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, sourcing agreements, and supplier performance.

Qualifications & Skills:
+5years of experience in a managerial role
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
+8years of experience in sourcing and shipping within the apparel industry.
Strong understanding of global supply chains, vendor negotiations, and logistics operations.
Familiarity with textile and garment production processes, quality control, and compliance standards.
Proficiency in supply chain software, ERP systems, and logistics platforms.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and analytical mindset.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with international suppliers and knowledge of trade regulations.
Understanding of sustainable sourcing practices in the apparel industry.
Previous experience with freight forwarding and customs clearance processes.
