Wordpress Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Website Maintenance Specialist to manage, maintain, and optimize our WordPress websites. This role involves regular updates, security management, and staging/testing for compatibility. The candidate will ensure all websites are secure, up-to-date, and functioning optimally.

Responsibilities:
- Perform regular vulnerability checks on WordPress plugins and themes using tools like Wordfence and InfiniteWP.
- Set up, manage, and update staging environments for WordPress sites, ensuring thorough testing of updates before deployment.
- Apply plugin and theme updates to ensure compatibility and functionality without disrupting live environments.
- Identify and address website-level security threats, such as brute force attacks and spam form submissions.
- Monitor SendGrid traffic to ensure smooth email deliverability.
- Monitor website performance and recommend optimizations to enhance speed and user experience.
- Conduct weekly and monthly website maintenance, including updates and bug fixes.
- Document customized plugins and configurations to ensure compatibility with future updates.
- Respond to website-related technical issues and coordinate with external teams for programming changes.
- Manage form submissions and monitor website quotas to avoid overages or performance issues.


Qualifications:
- Proven experience in WordPress website management and security.
- Familiarity with tools like Wordfence, InfiniteWP, and Cloudflare.
- Knowledge of website performance optimization techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple WordPress websites.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new tools and stay updated on WordPress best practices.
