About Us:
We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering underserved high school students through personal and professional development. We’re seeking a detail-oriented Research Writer to support our fundraising efforts by identifying key donor and foundation opportunities and crafting compelling content.

Role Overview:
The Research Writer will be responsible for conducting thorough research on individual donors, foundations, and grant opportunities. This role includes preparing clear, concise, and persuasive content such as donor profiles, foundation overviews, and grant application support materials.

Responsibilities:

Research prospective donors and foundations, including background, interests, and giving history.
Develop comprehensive donor and foundation profiles to inform outreach strategies.
Write and edit tailored content for proposals, donor communications, and fundraising materials.
Assist in creating compelling narratives to highlight the organization’s mission and impact.
Maintain organized records of research findings and ensure accuracy.
Qualifications:

Strong research and writing skills, with a focus on clarity and persuasion.
Prior experience in fundraising research, grant writing, or related content creation.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex information.
Proficiency with online research tools, databases, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
A passion for making a difference through nonprofit work.
Position Details:

Part-time, remote.
Flexible schedule with deadlines based on deliverables.
Some overlap with Pacific Coast Hours to talk to the team in Los Angeles is required.
