Ring Doorbell Footage Sourcer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Footage Sourcer to curate and collect Ring doorbell camera clips for our growing YouTube channel. This role involves identifying and obtaining unique, compelling, and high-quality footage that aligns with our channel's focus on engaging, entertaining, and newsworthy doorbell camera content.

Responsibilities
Source Footage: Identify engaging, entertaining, or dramatic Ring doorbell footage from platforms such as:
The Ring App’s Neighbors Feed
Reddit communities like r/RingDoorbell and r/PublicFreakout
TikTok and other short-form video platforms

Facebook Groups and public posts
Instagram Reels
Other online forums and communities
Note: YouTube videos are not eligible as sources.
Obtain Permissions: Professionally reach out to video owners to secure rights or licensing agreements for usage on our channel.
Curate Content: Evaluate clips to ensure they are relevant, engaging, and meet the channel's quality and storytelling standards.
Track and Organize: Maintain a detailed database of sourced clips, permissions, timestamps, and owner contact details.
Monitor Trends: Stay updated on viral doorbell camera videos, trending themes, and popular content that resonates with online audiences.
Collaborate: Work closely with content editors and producers to ensure sourced videos meet creative needs and deadlines.
Requirements
Proven ability to research and source engaging video clips across multiple platforms.
Strong communication skills for contacting video owners and obtaining necessary permissions.
Familiarity with platforms like the Ring App, Reddit, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram.
Ability to identify and evaluate high-quality, engaging footage that aligns with our audience.
Organized and detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping abilities.
Basic understanding of video quality standards (e.g., resolution, clarity, relevance).
Passion for viral video content, storytelling, and engaging digital media.
Preferred Skills
Experience with video sourcing, media licensing, or content curation.
Understanding of copyright laws, licensing agreements, and fair use principles.
Previous work in digital media, content creation, or YouTube content management.
Ability to recognize emerging trends and viral moments within the doorbell camera niche.
Compensation
Flexible hours – work at your own pace to meet sourcing goals, we need at least 25 clips PER day.
