JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support our government contracting processes. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle time-sensitive tasks efficiently. The candidate will assist with preparing proposals, monitoring submissions, tracking progress, and conducting research on contract opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Proposal Support: Assist in preparing and formatting government contract proposals.
Monitoring Submissions: Track deadlines, submission statuses, and contract milestones.
Research: Search for new government contract opportunities and perform market research.
Document Management: Maintain an organized system for contracts, proposals, and related files.
Follow-Up: Monitor follow-up activities with agencies or subcontractors to ensure timely responses.
Data Entry: Accurately input financial projections, proposal details, and progress metrics into tracking systems.
Qualifications:

Prior experience in government contracting (middleman, proposal writing, market research, etc.) or administrative support is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Hours: 15-20 hours per week (flexible schedule).
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience).
