Barreras Global LLC is a growing business focused on securing government contracts. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Government Contracting Specialist to help us navigate and manage the entire process of acquiring and fulfilling government contracts.
Job Description:
As a Government Contracting Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:
Researching and identifying relevant government contract opportunities
Preparing, submitting, and managing bids for government contracts
Handling the paperwork and compliance requirements for government contracts
Managing relationships with government agencies and subcontractors
Providing guidance on the contract process and ensuring deadlines are met
Assisting with all government contracting needs as we grow our business
Requirements:
Proven experience of more than 2 years in U.S. government contracting processes, including federal, state, and local government contracts
Strong knowledge of government procurement regulations and compliance standards
Ability to handle contract proposals and related paperwork independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented and organized
Ability to work remotely and manage projects independently
Must provide proof of more than 2 years of experience in government contracting, including relevant projects you’ve worked on
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of government contracting portals (e.g.,
Experience working with U.S.-based businesses
Familiarity with contracts related to IT, construction, or other specific industries
