Illustrator for Coloring Books

We are searching for an illustrator to work on sketching, inking, and coloring for our leading brand of coloring books.

Daily Activities

You will be focused on providing line-art for coloring books for adults. This will include providing sketches, inks, and colored versions for our covers and marketing materials.

Assets must be drawn and not generated with artificial intelligence. We respect the rights of other artists and want to avoid copyright issues, so we do not use AI to create artwork.

We would like to hire someone full-time, but are open to part-time positions (of twenty hours per week or more).

Our goal is to create a new series of coloring books for adults featuring people in everyday situations who are drawn in a friendly, approachable, and Western style (not realistic, juvenile, or anime/manga). We can provide examples.

Qualifications
- Proficient with sketching and inking.
- Outstanding ability to draw friendly characters for adults which convey emotion.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Love to collaborate with team members, including an art director.

Education
- Associate's Degree (or equivalent).

Experience
- 2+ years paid full-time work experience.

Work Schedule
- Full-time or part-time. 20 hours per week or more.
- Monday to Friday (Weekends Optional).
- Some hours need to be business hours in the US (EST).
