YouTube Scriptwriter

We are seeking a talented and efficient Scriptwriter to write 2+ high-quality, long-form scripts per day (25-35 minutes each) for our YouTube channel. Our focus is on crafting engaging, story-driven narratives—fictional or inspired by real-world events—that captivate viewers and hold their attention from start to finish.

You will work directly with the Channel Manager to receive ideas, align on creative direction, and deliver scripts that fit our vision.

Responsibilities
1. Scriptwriting:
• Write 2+ long-form scripts per day (each 8,000-10,000 words, 25-35 minutes runtime).
• Develop engaging and well-paced stories that maintain viewer interest throughout.
• Incorporate strong hooks, cliffhangers, and story arcs to maximize audience retention.
2. Research and Story Development:
• Research unique story ideas—real-world events, creative fiction, or imaginative narratives.
• Develop original angles and twists to create compelling, binge-worthy content.
3. Collaboration with Channel Manager:
• Align on topics, feedback, and content delivery timelines.
• Adapt quickly to revisions and refine scripts based on constructive input.
4. Audience Retention Focus:
• Write scripts that are highly engaging and optimize viewer retention through creative storytelling techniques.
• Ensure the style is voiceover-friendly and complements AI-driven visuals.

Qualifications
• Proven experience as a scriptwriter or storyteller for YouTube or similar platforms.
• Ability to produce 2+ scripts per day at the required length (25-35 minutes).
• Exceptional storytelling skills with a strong understanding of pacing, structure, and hooks.
• Proficiency in researching topics and turning ideas into compelling stories.
• Excellent written English with a focus on clarity, flow, and grammar.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
