JOB OVERVIEW

The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling recorded footage, adding visuals, effects, and sound elements to create compelling and polished videos that align with our brand and goals. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, a passion for storytelling, and a deep understanding of video editing software and techniques.

Responsibilities:
Edit raw video footage into finished content for various platforms (social media, websites, ads, etc.).
Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project goals.
Add music, voiceovers, graphics, animations, and special effects as needed.
Ensure the final output aligns with brand guidelines and client expectations.
Work efficiently to meet deadlines and adjust to feedback and revisions.
Organize and maintain digital assets and project files.
Optimize video content for various formats and platforms.
Stay updated with industry trends and new editing tools to enhance creativity and workflow.

Proven experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role.
Proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
Familiarity with color grading, motion graphics, and sound design.
Strong creative and storytelling skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Excellent attention to detail and time management.
Strong communication skills.
A portfolio or reel demonstrating previous video editing work.
