Podcast Manager

We’re seeking a Podcast Manager to oversee the production, growth, and optimization of our podcast. Our podcast is in the health and fitness industry and goes out bi-weekly (every other week). Responsibilities include:

Editing and Production
- Edit raw video and audio to create polished podcast episodes.
- Write detailed and SEO friendly show notes for each episode.
- Upload podcast episodes to the hosting platform.

Content Distribution
- Create 3-5 social media-friendly sound and video clips per episode.
- Upload and manage episodes and related content on YouTube.
- Create social media posts for additional platforms, including LinkedIn and Tik Tok

Analytics and Optimization
- Monitor and assess podcast analytics on a monthly basis.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve performance and engagement.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in podcast production, management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in audio and video editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with podcast hosting platforms (we use Buzzsprou), YouTube management, and social media scheduling tools.

Nice-to-Have:
- Background in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Experience with video optimization for social media platforms.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for podcast show notes and episodes.
