The Role:
We're seeking a talented and passionate YouTube Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in growing online presence. You'll be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive YouTube strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and ultimately drive results.
? Develop and implement a data-driven YouTube strategy aligned with Jeannette's overall brand vision for Brave Bold Brilliant, also aligned with Jeannette’s personal brand
? Ensure alignment of YouTube strategy with overall social media and podcast strategy
? Monetise BBB YouTube channel to drive commercial performance both directly through the channel with advertising revenue and also indirectly through trickle down revenue
? Promote and build awareness of the wider service offering of Brave Bold Brilliant of online courses, masterminds, executive development, mentoring and advisory services etc
? Create high-quality, engaging content that resonates with Jeannette's target audience.
? Plan and schedule timely, creative posts in line with the podcast schedule and wider brand & social media strategy.
? Optimise video titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails for maximum discoverability.
? Track and analyse video performance metrics, data & KPIs for continual improvement – providing weekly & monthly reports & analysis and identifying opportunities for improvement.
? Grow Jeannette's YouTube channel significantly by building a loyal subscriber base and fostering community engagement.
? Stay up-to-date on the latest YouTube trends and best practices.
? Collaborate with Jeannette and other tea
? Provide back up to multi-channel social media duties at times of holiday or absence, as required.
? Provide ongoing support, admin and messaging to our community on YouTube.
? Display the company values & culture at all times.
Key Traits & Experience:
? Proven experience developing and managing successful YouTube channels - ideally able to provide examples of your work and channels you currently manage or have contributed to significantly.
? Demonstrable, strong understanding of YouTube's algorithms and best practices, including SEO, content optimisation, audience growth and monetisation strategies.
? Experience of paid advertising to know when appropriate, and how to optimise
? Content creation experience, ensuring high quality, relevance and written “in the right voice”
? Analytics skills to evaluate performance, lead gen, customer comments and marketing results; effectively translate analytics into actionable insights to constantly drive success.
? Discretion and trustworthiness as you will often be privy to confidential information
? Flexibility and adaptability
? Positive, upbeat, self-starting attitude
? Creative flair for developing engaging concepts and formats
? Strong planning & organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail
? Agile and able to ‘shift gears’ at short notice
