3D Print Auto-quoting Script

We need someone to help finish a python script that will analyze an .stl file and estimate the print time and amount of material used.

The goal is to have the script automatically quote a price for 3D printing the file, as a business service, based on the printing time and amount of material used.

We have a working script, but it is not 100?curate. The amount of material used is easy to calculate. But the printing time has been difficult to estimate accurately. We are using the Bambu slicing software as a comparison to our script's print time estimations.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Python and 3D printing, and is willing to install the Bambu slicer program to use as a comparison to the script.

You will be provided several .stl models to work with. Project success will be determined by the script's print time estimations compared to the Bambu slicer program's print time estimations.
