We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Support professional to join our team remotely. In this role, you will collaborate with our investment and operations teams to manage counterparty onboarding, ensure timely follow-ups, and maintain impeccable documentation.
Role Overview:
As an Operations Support professional, you will play a pivotal role in onboarding counterparties, working closely with investment and operations teams to streamline processes and ensure compliance. You will be responsible for managing onboarding documentation, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and following up to ensure efficient and timely execution. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in operations or compliance within the financial services or asset management sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Counterparty Onboarding:
Oversee end-to-end counterparty onboarding, including document preparation, collection, and review.
Liaise with counterparties, investment teams, and compliance teams to ensure smooth onboarding workflows.
Ensure all documentation meets internal and regulatory standards, addressing any gaps or discrepancies promptly.
Act as the primary point of contact for counterparties during the onboarding process, providing clear guidance and timely updates.
Collaboration with Investment and Operations Teams:
Work closely with the investment team to support counterparty onboarding needs and ensure alignment with transaction timelines.
Collaborate with the operations team to coordinate and streamline onboarding processes.
Maintain open communication across teams to resolve bottlenecks and ensure smooth transitions.
Follow-Up and Coordination:
Proactively follow up with counterparties and internal stakeholders to track onboarding progress and meet deadlines.
Maintain a structured workflow using CRM systems or other tools to track onboarding status and deliverables.
Identify and address potential delays by coordinating with relevant teams.
Compliance and Documentation Management:
Support compliance efforts by ensuring onboarding activities adhere to regulatory and internal standards.
Prepare and manage due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) and other compliance-related documentation in coordination with the compliance team.
Maintain accurate and organized records of counterparty information and onboarding activities.
Administrative Support:
Assist in creating reports, presentations, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Provide general administrative support, including data entry, file management, and meeting coordination.
Manage calendars and schedules for onboarding-related meetings and reviews.
Qualifications:
Experience in operations, compliance, or client onboarding within the financial services or asset management industry not compulsory but well regarded
Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage follow-ups and handle complex paperwork.
Experience working closely with investment and operations teams is highly valued.
Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements, particularly related to counterparty onboarding.
Tech-savvy with experience using CRM systems and other operational tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and client-focused approach.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
