About Us:
We are a growing e-commerce business, HoppScotch.bun, specializing in premium rabbit supplies, alongside managing personal financial goals. We’re seeking a highly skilled Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with U.S. certification to join our team. This role will focus on managing both business and personal finances, including catching up on 2–4 years of financial records, ensuring tax compliance, and creating financial strategies to optimize growth and efficiency.


What You’ll Do:

Business Financial Management:
• Maintain and update bookkeeping records for HoppScotch.bun, ensuring accurate tracking of income, expenses, and inventory.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Oversee tax compliance for the business, including sales tax and annual tax filings for the U.S. market.

Personal Financial Management:
• Track and reconcile personal financial records, including budgeting and planning for investments.
• Prepare and file personal U.S. tax returns, ensuring all deductions and credits are optimized.
• Develop financial strategies to manage and reduce debt while aligning with long-term personal and business goals.

Catch-Up Accounting:
• Organize and reconcile 2–4 years of past financial records for both business and personal accounts.
• Identify gaps in financial documentation and collaborate on obtaining missing records.
• Prepare past-due tax filings and address any compliance issues with the IRS or state tax agencies.

Financial Planning:
• Create and maintain financial plans for growth, including forecasting and budgeting.
• Provide strategic insights on cost-saving opportunities and revenue growth.



What We’re Looking For:
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with U.S. Certification is required.
• Proven experience in bookkeeping, tax preparation, and financial planning for U.S.-based businesses.
• Expertise in QuickBooks, Xero, or other accounting software for automated bookkeeping.
• Strong understanding of U.S. tax laws for both individuals and businesses.
• Ability to manage catch-up bookkeeping and multi-year reconciliations efficiently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote work.
• Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying financial opportunities and risks.
