Video Editor for Short and Long-Form Social Media Content

We are a fast-growing company creating engaging, educational, and storytelling content to attract and inspire customers. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and creative video editor who can transform our vision into reality and deliver high-quality videos across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Compensation:

Starting rate: $5/hour, paid bi-weekly.
Guaranteed 15-20% raise after 1 year, based on performance.
Opportunity to transition to a full-time role (40 hours/week) based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit at least 3 short-form videos daily (under 2 minutes each), by condensing long-form content or refining short clips.
Create and edit 5 long-form videos (under 10 minutes) weekly.
Edit YouTube videos and YouTube Shorts, ensuring content is optimized for platform engagement.
Experiment with various editing styles to optimize content performance.
Add animated subtitles, zoom animations, and other effects to enhance engagement.
Ensure turnaround of 1-2 business days per video.
Follow platform-specific dimensions and trends to deliver content optimized for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Execute the specific vision provided while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
Skills and Qualifications:

-Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro.
-Proven experience editing videos for social media platforms (portfolio required).
-Strong understanding of motion graphics, animated subtitles, and visual effects.
-Ability to adapt to different styles and experiment with new trends.
-Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
