JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a driven and bilingual (Spanish/English) Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help grow our customs brokerage services in Tijuana, Mexico. This role focuses on generating new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and managing the early stages of the sales pipeline. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, tech-savvy (including familiarity with tools like ChatGPT), and passionate about driving growth in the cross-border trade sector.

Responsibilities:
• Lead Generation and Prospecting:
• Identify businesses in Tijuana that need customs brokerage services.
• Conduct market research to understand client needs and challenges related to cross-border logistics.
• Generate sales leads through cold calls, emails, and digital outreach (e.g., LinkedIn).
• Sales Outreach:
• Initiate and manage contact with prospective clients, showcasing our expertise in customs brokerage.
• Educate potential clients on the value of our services, including tariff classification, permit management, and cross-border transportation.
• Schedule meetings and support the sales manager in follow-ups.
• CRM and Technology Management:
• Use a CRM tool (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce) to track leads, update client records, and maintain an organized sales pipeline.
• Use ChatGPT or other AI tools to draft outreach messages, analyze market data, and streamline communication.
• Reporting:
• Provide regular updates on lead generation activities, outreach progress, and pipeline health.
• Collaborate with the sales manager to refine outreach strategies based on feedback and performance data.


Qualifications:
• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
• Proven experience in sales, lead generation, or business development, preferably in logistics, customs brokerage, or B2B sales.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and AI tools like ChatGPT.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex services clearly.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple leads simultaneously.
• Resourceful and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.


Preferred:
• Knowledge of Mexican import/export regulations and customs processes.
• Previous experience selling services to manufacturers, distributors, or businesses engaged in cross-border trade.
