C3Production is a creative production company specializing in compelling visual storytelling for film, television, and digital platforms. We are currently seeking a talented Video Editor to join our team and assist in crafting a polished final cut for our upcoming short film project.

Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented video editor with experience in film editing to trim and refine raw footage from our narrative-driven short film. The editor will work closely with the director and production team to bring the project to completion while ensuring the final cut aligns with the creative vision.

Due to the confidentiality of this project, work will be assigned in parts, and an NDA is required before accessing project materials.

Responsibilities
- Review and organize raw footage provided by the production team.
- Trim and refine video clips to achieve a seamless flow while maintaining the story’s emotional and narrative essence.
- Utilize metadata in DaVinci Resolve to efficiently organize and manage video clips.
- Collaborate with the director to incorporate feedback and revisions.
- Maintain technical quality for submission to film festivals and digital platforms.
- Manage project files and assets in an organized and accessible manner.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in video editing for short films, commercials, or similar narrative projects.
- Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve (required).
- Familiarity with using metadata to organize and manage footage in DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual continuity.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to feedback in a collaborative environment.
- Familiarity with color grading and sound design in DaVinci Resolve (preferred but not required).
