Job Description:
The Government Virtual Assistant (GVA) will be responsible for assisting with tasks related to government contracting and procurement processes. This role is suited for someone with expertise in crafting and submitting winning proposals, managing
Key Responsibilities:
Bid and Proposal Writing: Research opportunities, draft, format, and submit government proposals in compliance with FAR/DFAR or other applicable regulations.
Platform Management: Maintain and update profiles on
Contract Management: Track contracts, deadlines, and submission requirements in an organized database.
Document Preparation: Ensure all government forms, certifications, and licenses are completed and submitted accurately.
Research: Conduct market research to identify relevant opportunities across federal, state, or local agencies.
Communication: Liaise with government agencies and clients, providing updates and clarifications as needed.
Administrative Support: Organize and manage digital files,
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in U.S. government proposal writing and procurement.
Familiarity with
Skills:
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and online procurement tools.
Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling proposals.
High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, or a related field preferred but not required.
Other Requirements:
Must submit a sample proposal from a previous U.S. government bid for consideration.
Familiarity with FAR/DFAR regulations is a plus.
