Job Description: Retention Account Manager
Department: Sales and Marketing Division
Position: Retention Account Manager

We are looking for a dynamic and technically skilled Retention Account Manager to join our Sales Retention Team. This hybrid role combines account management with IT expertise, requiring you to deliver exceptional customer experiences, drive sales, and support technical solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

Act as the technical advisor for the Retention Sales Team, providing insights into IT products, services, and solutions.
Address client inquiries and technical issues by collaborating with the team to deliver customized solutions.
Build and maintain relationships with assigned accounts to maximize retention, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
Meet personal sales targets while contributing to overall team revenue goals.
Deliver technical consultations, product demonstrations, and presentations to clients.
Liaise with internal teams, including Product Development and Technical Support, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Stay updated on the latest IT trends and industry developments to provide clients with innovative solutions.
Maintain accurate client records in the CRM system, tracking interactions and sales progress.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in account management, retention sales, or a related role.
Hands-on experience with IT products and services such as SaaS, cloud solutions, and networking.
Strong understanding of IT systems, software, and networks.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with adaptability to fast-paced environments.
Proactive learner with a keen interest in emerging IT technologies.

Experience Requirements

Proven track record in account management or retention sales, complemented by technical expertise in IT support or sales.
Deep technical knowledge of networking, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, SaaS, and IT hardware/software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Ability to consistently achieve sales targets while maintaining a client-focused approach.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple accounts effectively.
